Beat egg yolks until pale yellow. Slowly add sugar, beating constantly until incorporated into yolks. Sprinkle in almond powder, a little at a time. Blend thoroughly. Add flavorings.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add to batter and beat several minutes. Fold in flour until just blended but do not overbeat. Bake in prepared tube pan at 350 degrees, 45 minutes or until tests done.
